Springing forward is wreaking havoc on my sense of time. Especially when it comes to cooking for dinner. My house has found ourselves consistently confused ever since we sprang forward one hour, in that it’ll be 7:00 before we realize that, while it is still quite bright out, it’s 7:00 pm and we haven’t started cooking yet. And then by the time we finish cooking and eating, it’s 9 or 9:30. And then you’re itis’d (food coma) and too tired to work, which results in a significant decrease in work efficiency until midnight, when you realize that it’s midnight and you haven’t got much work done and you realize just how much work you still have to do, so you start working like a madman until 2:00 am when you realize you have to get up early for class and that yet again, you will only have about 5-7 hours of sleep.
Repeat cycle next day.
And yes, I am aware that spring forward was a few weeks ago. Evidently I have not fully adjusted yet.
