In light of recent events, I’ve been confronted with this thought: All this school work, worldly things that lead to worldly goals (career)… what does it matter if its at the expense of not showing enough care to fellow brothers and sisters? Only caring when I see them at ACF programs/activities, but outside of those times being too busy to have time to talk, to properly get to know them… their struggles, their lives, and share in that. It comes down to this: What is really of eternal value? Being able to edify others and share in our walks with God. Thats what will last, beyond school, career, life itself.
