how NOT to be sore the day after a 6 hour bike ride

1) use an electric massager on your burning quads, butt, and legs in general

2) take a muscle relaxant before bed

3) sleep for 14 hours

This definetly helps the quads to be fine the next day (in time for ultimate too!) but the posterior, unfortunately, takes longer to heal..

  3. my massage therapist friend said that after an intense workout, the best thing for your muscles is a cold shower or a dip in a cold pool. Supposed to minimize all the swelling etc. Taking a hot shower might feel good…but will lengthen your recovery time. =)
